A Proud Moment for La Voix Studio: Celebrating Music, Family, and African American History and Culture

At La Voix Studio, we believe music is more than a performance, it is a story, a legacy, and a connection between generations. We are incredibly proud to celebrate a special piece of music history that is close to our hearts.

During a recent visit to Washington, DC, members of the La Voix Studio family had the opportunity to explore the National Museum of African American History and Culture, a remarkable destination dedicated to preserving and sharing the stories, achievements, and cultural contributions of African Americans throughout history.

Among the museum’s incredible exhibits are highlights honoring legendary artists who helped shape the sound of generations, including The Supremes and Freda Payne’s iconic album, Band of Gold. Seeing these accomplishments recognized and preserved in such an important institution was an unforgettable moment and a powerful reminder of the lasting impact music can have.

We are especially proud to celebrate Freda and Scherrie Payne's legacy and the influence of the Payne family, whose contributions continue to inspire artists and music lovers around the world. These moments remind us why preserving, sharing, and celebrating the arts remains at the heart of what we do at La Voix Studio.
