Song ChoiceSong Choice is everything. There is no song theme for the Winter Annual Event. Make sure you pick your song by the deadline so you have time to practice and prepare to be sure that you are performance ready. Students are able to sing 1 song. It must be less than 3.5 - 4 minutes MAX. The Final Song choice must be approved and have an available track to accompany or let us know if you are accompanying yourself. This show is a great opportunity to showcase your talent on a large stage. Please Login for more info & to submit your pic & bio for the program. Practice, Practice, Practice! It is one thing to just sing a song, it is another to perform it. Performance technique is a must to learn in order to grow as an artist and connect with your audience. Preparatory Lessons to be able to have time to develop the skills to sing and perform are imperative for a good performance. The time is now to practice, practice, practice with your musical coach to hone those skills. The sign up sheet for this show will be for pre-intermediate students, and up on the studio bulletin board, for they are at the level to be able experience performing in front of a large audience in a professional setting. Call to Schedule Lessons Today to begin selecting a song by the deadline and working on material. |
Performing On StageThe only way to get comfortable performing is to perform more and more. A quick tip is to try singing at school, church, temple, coffee shops, karaoke, open mics, or even if you just practice singing in front of your friends and family can help get you started. It is harder to sing in an audition with just a few people staring at you, than it is singing in a large auditorium or stadium because you can't see your audience with all the lights shining. Practice performing as much as you can before this show. At the show, Students will be asked to line 3 acts ahead backstage so that the show runs as smoothly as possible and on time. Finale RehearsalThere will be a Finale Rehearsal with all performers at the studio. Students must be at the finale rehearsal(s) or Skype or FaceTime the rehearsal. The recordings will be available online. We are arranging a phenomenal finale to make sure that we give a great show for your family & friends coming to support & see you perform. Going along with our theme, the Finale will be a mash up with a twist of lyrics.
