La Voix Studio, in association with Maison De Music Foundation, is hosting the event of the season! Expect to be blasted back to the past at our 90's Era Theme Show on Monday, May 20th.

You'll hear bops and jams of all different genres like Pop, R&B, Rock and more coming from a Live All Star Band. It'll be all that and a bag of chips!

Spring back to the 90's at the Catalina Club in Hollywood, it won't disappoint. Advanced ticket sales have been extended through Saturday, May 18th. Remaining General Tickets will be sold at the door for $60 each (if available).

This past Sunday our first ever Singer Songwriter Showcase was a huge hit! We wanted to take a moment to extend our deepest gratitude to all of our students, supporters and staff who made this event possible but also so fun and lively. Every performance was captivating and we loved hearing all the original songs performed. We're already starting to plan the next one so keep an eye out for the announcement.

Her latest album, Come Back To Me Love (her first for the Artistry Music imprint) marks not only a return to the big band and strings-laden classics from her mid-`60s beginnings with Impulse! but also marks a return to her hometown of Detroit. That makes this 14-song album featuring Grammy® award-winner Bill Cunliffe’s musical arrangements—from the vibes-kissed Kenny Rankin waltz “Haven’t We Met” to the lonely evening fireplace musings of “Lately”—a beautiful homecoming.

“It’s a dream come true,” Payne enthuses with a smile, “Just like in 1968 when I was living in New York seeking my fame and fortune, and ran into Brian Holland of Holland-Dozier-Holland. He told me they had just left Motown and started their own company, Invictus. I flew back to Detroit, signed with them and a year later had a Top 5 record, ‘Band of Gold.’ So releasing this album on Mack Avenue’s Artistry Music imprint is truly serendipitous—a flashback to something really good happening for me at home in Detroit, my good luck charm.” Berry did write those three songs for me. However, they were never released. It was only a few years later she landed her first record deal in New York with ABC Paramont. Her first single was called Slightly Out Of Tune.
